Workshop

Making Space, Gifting Grace

Sarah and Ally explore creativity, grace, embodiment, and human connection through art, theology, and movement.

A morning event followed by lunch, as part of the Morphe Arts London Programme.

Artists Sarah White and Alastair Gordon - who run the Morphe London Programme - will explore creativity, grace, and what it means to become more fully human through relationship, movement, theology, and artistic practice.

Through a combination of talk and performative lecture, this event considers creativity not as striving or self-performance, but as a response to something already given. Drawing on ideas of embodiment, imitation, the Trinity, and the Christian understanding of imago Dei, both presentations explore how making begins in attention, receptivity, and relationship.

A dangerous calling - 500 years of William Tyndale’s New Testament

A dangerous calling: 500 years of William Tyndale’s New Testament, is now open until February 2027. It tells the extraordinary story of one of the smallest yet most dangerous books in English history, 500 years on from its publication.

Come and see St Paul's Cathedral's 500-year-old first edition copy, and discover how this once forbidden text gave ordinary people 'from princes to ploughboys' the chance to read the word of God for themselves. Learn how Tyndale risked everything to make that possible, and how within 15 years, a book that was burned outside these very walls became one of the most sought-after in England.

Move between soaring altarpieces and exquisite still lifes in the first major UK exhibition of this great artist from Baroque Seville.

A peer of Murillo and VelΓ‘zquez, ZurbarΓ‘n stands out for his drama, mystery and vision. From the rind of a lemon to the timeless gaze of a saint, he finds an intensity in the ordinary. Strong light and deep shadow bring real faces, soft fabrics, fresh fruit and flowers to life. His paintings unite stillness, focus and faith.
