Panel
Faith, Work & the Renewal of Culture
A panel exploring how faith shapes the way we create, lead and build in the world.
What does it mean to follow Jesus not just on Sundays, but in the work we do every day?
From creativity and entrepreneurship to pastoral leadership, David Joe, Tim Chong, and Jamie Brayford will share how theology of work connects our faith with the realities of business, the arts and everyday vocation.
Together we'll ask why our work matters to God; and how Christians can see their workplaces, industries and creative pursuits as part of God's ongoing work of renewal in the world.

After Religion: Plough Spring Issue Launch
Plough editor Joy Clarkson will be joined by contributors King-Ho Leung, Karen Kilby, and Francis Young for an evening of discussion.
What comes after religion? Across the West, societies are becoming increasingly secular and Christian influence is decreasing to the point of irrelevance. Plough's spring issue explores some of the ramifications that this is having, considers the example of Christians in similarly bleak times in history, and looks at what may be demanded by people of faith today.

The Trumpet Shall Sound: Music in Biblical Art
Discover how artists made expressions of faith visible with their depictions of music in this in-depth but accessible talk by Amina Wright at the Foundling Museum.
In every culture, music and singing have always been among the most fundamental expressions of faith and spirituality, but for artists, expressing the power of music in a silent, visual medium is a paradox. And yet, visual representations of music are essential in Western Christian art. In this talk, we will look at images of some of the Biblical narratives that show the power of music in all its variety: from Davidβs soothing harp to the terrifying trumpets of the Apocalypse. There will be a particular focus on angels: why are they so often depicted with instruments, and what does this tell us about music and spirituality?
